I may be wrong but if you can sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you its not really flexibility though it may feel like it.
Can t keep legs straight during leg raises. Lift until your hips are fully flexed and you cant go any higher with straight legs then lower back down and repeat. The Leg Raise. My compression is not great in those examples.

If you cant yet hit that clean rep cheat and bring your legs to your core with your knees bent. To complete the movement inhale as you slowly lower your legs back down until they are hovering just above the floor. No its a combination of tight hip flexors and weak hamstrings.
As you increase the length of a lever the force at the end of the lever appears greater. When Im doing leg raises either hanging or lying I struggle to keep my legs entirely straight at the final part of the raise. I think its mainly compression strength. Tighten the muscles of your bottom and raise your leg to a 45 degree angle. NOT An Ab Movement.
